LymphMed Lymphatic Drainage
As your skin ages, the lymphatic system slows down and decreases elimination of toxins from the deepest layers of the skin, resulting in a loss of vibrancy, tautness and clarity shown by visible signs of aging. Lymphatic drainage helps stimulate the movement of lymphatic fluid "lymph" in the face and body to improve skin texture and health. Lymphatic drainage can help to reduce the signs of aging such as wrinkles and loss of elasticity, poor skin tone and complexion, reduce redness and irritation, detoxify acne prone skin, as well as contouring the under eye, cheekbone and jawline. Lymphatic drainage is safe and beneficial for acne, sensitive skin and rosacea.
The LymphMed unit from Atzen mimics manual lymphatic massage techniques to induce the contraction and expansion of the lymphatic valves, which encourages the movement of lymph fluid and toxin removal. Slow rhythmic pulses of air (light suction) stimulate and cleanse the tissues, eliminating toxins and increasing blood flow. This methodical stimulation directs the lymphatic fluid to the lymph nodes where the fluid is filtered and waste is eliminated. Since lymph flows through the body in one direction, with valves preventing fluid from going the wrong way, the tissues must always be slowly and gently 'pumped' in the same direction as the local flow pattern. The light displacement of the skin, combined with the gentle pumping action of the machine, stimulates the lymphatic system to move the lymph. Due to the change in the balance of pressure in the tissues, new fluids are filtered to the area, bringing nutrients and hydration to the cells. The body’s own lymph system continues the process for days after receiving a LymphMed treatment, enabling the lymph to flow in a more youthful and healthy way. |

Ultrasonic Wand
Using the power of ultrasonic vibration to gently exfoliate skin and deeply cleans clogged pores. Ultrasonic vibration helps loosen and lift away dead skin cells as well as wiggle impurities out of pores. When the Ultrasonic wand is applied to moist skin, very small bubbles are created as the wand makes contact with water on the surface of the skin. These bubbles along with the ultrasonic vibration of the wand help to dislodge dirt and debris that are trapped in the pores. There is little to no redness or downtime with this treatment.
Crystal Rollers and Massage Tools
Crystal rollers can stimulate lymphatic flow, improve blood flow, reduce puffiness and inflammation and are cooling and soothing on the skin. Using a Crystal roller as a massage tool can also be a very calming and relaxing addition to a facial. Some people benefit from the unique energetic properties each gemstone has, contributing to an improved overall sense of well-being.
