Policies

The following policies are designed to help ensure appointments run smoothly, respect everyone’s time, and allow me to provide the highest level of care and attention during every visit.

Cancellations And Appointment Changes 

Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. When an appointment is canceled with insufficient notice, that time cannot typically be filled and the income associated with that appointment is permanently lost. Cancellation fees are not intended as a punishment, but rather as a means of protecting the time reserved for each client and the sustainability of a small business.

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule all or part of your appointment. Because appointment times are reserved exclusively for you, changes made with less than 48 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee.
If you cancel, reschedule or make changes to your scheduled services:

 

Less than 48 hours' notice - you will be charged 50% of scheduled services

24 hours' notice or less or failure to attend your appointment: 100% of scheduled services will be charged

Missed Appointments 

Missed appointments will be subject to the applicable cancellation fee. Clients with repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may be required to pay a deposit or prepay future appointments in full.

Late Arrivals

​Please plan to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please call or text as soon as possible. Arriving late may require your appointment to be shortened. I will do my best to accommodate your scheduled services within the time remaining. Because appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, you will remain responsible for the full dollar amount of your scheduled services.

Returns and Refunds

​All sales are final. Glow Skincare Studio does not accept returns on purchased products and does not offer refunds on services or deposits. If you have any concerns regarding a product purchased or service, please contact me so we can discuss an appropriate solution. 

Keeping Track of Appointments

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are automatically sent by email, text message, and push notification (for clients using the Vagaro app and account) approximately 72 hours and 24 hours before your appointment, unless you have chosen to opt out of these reminders. While every effort is made to ensure reminders are delivered, technology is not always reliable, and reminder notifications are not guaranteed. It is ultimately your responsibility to keep track of your scheduled appointments. For your convenience, upcoming appointments can be viewed at any time through your Vagaro account online or in the Vagaro app. If you have any questions about your upcoming appointments, please feel free to contact me.

Frequent Rescheduling 

While occasional schedule changes are understandable, frequent rescheduling can make it difficult to offer available appointments to other clients. Appointment times held for extended periods are unavailable to others, and repeated rescheduling can make those openings difficult to fill. To protect reserved appointment time and maintain scheduling availability, clients with a pattern of frequent rescheduling may be limited to booking no more than one week in advance.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable.

 

Guests and children

​​To maintain a comfortable and professional environment, and because space is limited, only clients receiving services should attend appointments unless prior arrangements have been made
 

Results & Recommendations

Skincare results vary from person to person. While every service is performed with the goal of improving the appearance of the skin, individual results cannot be guaranteed. Consistency, home care, lifestyle, overall health, and many other factors all play a role in achieving and maintaining results.
 

Personal Items 

Glow Skincare Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Clients are encouraged to leave jewelry and other valuables at home whenever possible. Earrings, necklaces, and other jewelry may need to be removed during your appointment
